Brian Marcinek is a Managing Director and Private Wealth Advisor with the Marcinek Group at Merrill Private Wealth Management. With over 29 years of experience in banking, investment, and asset management, he advises individuals, families, foundations, and endowments across Arizona and the Pacific Northwest. His expertise includes portfolio construction, credit and liquidity strategies, trust and estate planning services, wealth transfer strategies, and access to banking services through Bank of America. Brian focuses on executing client objectives and delivering value, drawing on his extensive background to navigate the complexities of significant wealth management.
Prior to his current role, Brian spent nearly a decade at J.P. Morgan Private Bank leading a wealth management team serving ultra-high-net-worth individuals and families. He also held leadership roles with a local multi-billionaire family office, including Principal and CFO of Eagle River Investments and Treasurer of a private family foundation. Earlier in his career, Brian gained experience in investment banking at J.P. Morgan in New York and in business strategy consulting with Andersen, now Accenture. He holds a B.S. in Applied Economics and Business Management from Cornell University and is a Personal Investment Advisor (PIA).
Brian has been involved in community organizations such as Seattle Children's Hospital Foundation, Friends of the Children, and St. Thomas School, serving in roles including trustee and finance committee member. He resides in Arcadia with his wife and daughters and enjoys traveling, outdoor activities with his family, cooking, and savoring fine wine.
