Hi! My name is Joe Forish and I started Fortrove Partners to help technologists deal with challenges of company ownership / equity compensation. From a young age, I learned about maximizing hard work and doing what you do best while working at my father’s auto dealership. I also saw first-hand both the rewards and challenges of running a business. Prior to Fortrove, I honed my expertise investing in public and private equity. I graduated from Pennsylvania State University with a B.S. in Finance and International Business, and from the Harvard Business Analytics Program, with Distinction. In my free time you will find me skiing an evergreen tree-lined run or longboarding when it’s cloudy and glassy. I live in New York City with my wife Linda.

Christopher Gething founded Atherean Asset Management LLC in 2014 as an independent investment advisory firm after working as a financial adviser at various firms including MetLife Securities since 2006. He is also the managing member of the general partner to the Atherean Value Fund, LP, a value-oriented long-short equity fund which was formed in 2023. Prior to working in investment management he worked as an engineer at companies including ABAQUS, Inc, now part of Dassault Systèmes. He is a CFA charterholder and a member of the New York Society of Security Analysts, and is also a Certified Financial Planner practitioner. He has Sc.B. and Sc.M. degrees in engineering from Brown University, and did graduate work at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where he was a member of Sigma Xi. Atherean Asset Management LLC offers investment advisory, portfolio management, and financial planning services to individuals, high-net-worth clients, pension and profit-sharing plans, corporations, trusts, and investment funds.
