Meet the Founder: Chris Jennings, CFP® I founded Bronx River Advisory so that I could serve a wider variety of consumers. Most people don’t need an exhaustive, rigid plan on day one—they need a clear, objective answer to the question right in front of them, especially when navigating a major life transition.
As an education-first, fee-only fiduciary advisor, I help individuals and families handle moments like career shifts, divorce, inheritances, and retirement decisions with confidence. I start with a fixed project fee to resolve immediate priorities, creating space to see what real fiduciary guidance feels like before considering long-term commitments. From there, I enter into ongoing partnerships and proactive asset management when it makes mutual sense.
Background & Community Before opening our doors at 51 Pondfield Road in Bronxville Village, I spent over a decade in wealth management, including more than seven years at a national RIA where I served as Vice President. My technical work includes executive benefits, equity compensation, NY co-op and condo financial due diligence, tax-efficient IRA distribution strategies, and long-term legacy planning.
My approach is grounded in my Jesuit education at Fordham Prep and the University of Scranton, emphasizing intellectual rigor, active listening, and genuine care for the individual. Outside the office, I serve on the board of Puppy Kitty NYC and support regional rescues through the Cash the Cat Giving Fund—inspired by my rescue cat, Cash. I am an active parishioner at Saint Joseph's Parish, an uncle to six fantastic nieces and nephews, an avid collector of vintage mid-century Pan Am aviation art, and always looking forward to a warm trip down to Aruba.
Based on XYPN Sapphire
Most client relationships begin with a transparent, fixed-fee project to address immediate needs without long-term obligations: Land on Your Feet ($750–$3,000 for focused triage) or The Foster Program ($4,500–$15,000 for a multi-topic financial diagnostic). Ongoing partnerships paired with proactive asset management (% of AUM) are offered subsequently when it makes mutual sense.

Not sure where to start?
We'll help you think it through—whether you ultimately need an advisor or not. Warmer helps you compare advisors clearly, so you can choose with confidence.
For advisor listings, we rely on sources including public filings and data provided by advisors, and we cannot guarantee that all information is current or accurate. Advisors are independent and may not have reviewed or updated this information. Please review an advisor’s Form ADV and do your own diligence before deciding whether to work with them.
Advisor matching and introductions are provided by FinanceHQ LLC (“FHQ”), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Warmer and an SEC-registered investment advisor. We receive compensation from certain participating advisors for introductions or referrals. This creates a conflict of interest because we have an incentive to recommend advisors who compensate us, including those who pay us more. You pay no fee to use our matching service, and advisor fees are not increased because of a referral or introduction. We do not review the ongoing performance of advisors, manage or hold assets, guarantee performance, or provide advice about specific investments.
By using our service, you agree to our Terms of Service and Advisory Agreement, and acknowledge our Privacy Policy. Please review FHQ’s ADV Part 2A and Form CRS. Logos provided by Logo.dev
