RFG Advisory is a multi‑team registered investment adviser with roughly 178 advisors managing about $8 billion for more than 17,000 clients, including individuals, high‑net‑worth households, trusts, retirement plans and institutional accounts. The firm provides portfolio management, financial planning, retirement plan consulting, access to third‑party and proprietary model strategies, alternative investments and annuity management. RFG typically manages client assets on a discretionary basis using a mix of actively managed and passive ETF/mutual‑fund models, direct indexing and tax‑aware strategies, with periodic rebalancing and a focus on risk‑managed sleeves. It operates an internal investment team and a model marketplace and uses multiple third‑party platforms (for example, SMArtX, iCapital/CAIS and Pontera) to implement unified managed accounts, participant solutions and alternative offerings. Noteworthy aspects of the firm include its role as sub‑adviser to the Bluemonte family of ETFs and its willingness to manage assets for investment companies—capabilities that are uncommon among multi‑team advisers. The firm also provides services to state and municipal clients and supports Financial Advisors who hold insurance licenses and sell insurance/annuity products through affiliated and third‑party platforms, alongside curated access to private alternative investments and banking partnerships.
